Dr. Md. Shamsuzzoha assumed the charge of the Vice Chancellor, Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic and Persian University, Patna on 25.01.2011. Earlier Dr. S. Zoha was Head, University Department of Arabic, Patna University, Patna. As he had been associated with the Movement and primary efforts for the establishment of this very University and attended several meetings of Expert Committees organized by MHRD to prepare Academic Structure and make it functional. He is privileged to serve this University which has been established for the development of higher studies in Arabic and Persian as well as for the empowerment of disadvantaged groups i.e. Women, Minorities and Dalits by providing access and inclusion to mainstream educational facilities.
